For IP Phones, the Trend is Road Tripping

By Marisa Torrieri, TMCnet Editor

This spring, the market is reportedly hotter for IP surveillance products, IP phones and IP video applications for SMBs. In other words, IP is sizzling.

That’s why IP phones manufacturer snom technology AG (News - Alert) has taken its solutions on the road this spring – in more than one road show.

We hear the company, which began its European road show in March, is participating in yet another “road-show” themed event: ABP’s (News - Alert) seventh-annual IP Sizzles Conference for technology resellers and integrators in telephony, data networking and IP video surveillance.

The show, which kicks off May 5 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, for the first international leg of tour and in Los Angeles on May 18 in United States, will highlight innovative and profitable solutions resellers are peddling in the IP technology and IP communications space.

Central themes include unified communications IP surveillance and IP video applications for SMB. IP Sizzles will focus on key business aspects and sales process improvements for resellers to be more successful in today's challenging economic and competitive environment.

IP Sizzles attendees will also be among the first to see new products from Aastra, Broadvox Digium, Epygi (News - Alert), Grandstream, ISS, Mobotix, Nuuo, Patton, snom technology, Veracity and others. IP Sizzles features speakers from different areas of the IP industry who will describe how ABP Resellers can reach a higher level in their core competency and ideas for expanding their sales and marketing efforts.

Meanwhile, snom’s European trip will take the company’s IP phones through nine countries, including Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Denmark.

On May 4, the German company will arrive in the United Kingdom and tour London and Manchester. Representatives of snom said its channel partners, through the snom-specific road show, will get insight into its future plans.

“‘snom on the road’ is a great time for resellers to come along and find out more about us and our innovation in VoIP phones, as well as providing a great opportunity for partners to share their forthcoming VoIP projects,” said Michael Knieling (News - Alert), marketing and sales director.
