Securing Survivability with SIP Trunking

By Juliana Kenny, TMCnet Web Editor

In discussing the issues over security and survivability with SIP Trunking, various industry experts and analysts are trying to find ways of maintaining the cost-effective features of SIP Trunking while not jeopardizing security. In a webinar on September 20th at 2 p.m. ET and 10 a.m. CT Dani Kiryati, marketing Manager, and Alan Percy (News - Alert) director of market development, both of AudioCodes will join Aviv Marom, marketing manager and Larry Clarkson, director of product marketing of AudioCodes to discuss the real issues with security and survivability with SIP Trunking.

Dani Kiryati was a leading product marketing contributor at Siemens Enterprise Communications and Texas Instruments (News - Alert) before joining AudioCodes where he is responsible for Corporate and Channel marketing activities. Alan Percy identifies market trends and builds relationships to foster new business opportunities for AudioCodes (News - Alert) with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Their colleagues, Marom and Clarkson both are also responsible for marketing activities with focuses on channels and technical products respectively. The forum these four will attend is meant to hash out the issues SIP Trunking has had in the past with interoperability and the pressures it puts on the deployments of SIP Trunking with SIP, voice coder, DTMF or Fax incompatibilities.

Attending this webinar will enable the listener to become familiar with AudioCodes’ new line of Enterprise Session Border Controller products which use the solid and reliable Mediant gateway hardware platforms. Learning more about the new E-SBC products will get the listener in on how the products solve the survivability, security, and interoperability issues with SIP Trunking.

SIP Trunking’s benefits, especially cost management-wise have always been compromised by interoperability issues. Listen in on the webinar to find out how to manage these issues while still saving!
